Research Director

Description: The Research Director is responsible for a range of tasks, from expanding the Mobile Money Transfer (MMT) Directory to compiling area and technology briefs for fellow staff members. The Research Director will also be responsible for monitoring the mobile payment space and preparing updates when new systems and technologies arise.
Qualifications: An ability to monitor multiple spaces and summarize complex information in simple terms is essential. Experience conducting detailed research is a plus.
Expectations: Mobility and accessibility are essential. The Research Director is expected to be connected and accessible through a variety of medium (e.g. email, telephone, social networks, VOIP, etc.). Applicants must be willing to work 10 to 15 hours a week. All positions are unpaid.
