Limbe Labs combines the incubator with its two other business units; consulting and outsourcing.

Job Description
Limbe Labs is seeking an experienced PHP Developer to be part of our growing software development team. Candidate must be able to relocate to Limbe for an initial period with a possibility of working remotely later.

Skills required

  • Experience with object oriented programming and modular programming is essential
  • Experience with the full software development life cycle: from business / systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery is essential
  • Experience with Model View Controller (MVC) style framework (CakePHP, CodeIgniter, Kohana, Symfony, etc.) is essential
  • UML or other modelling languages to demonstrate specifications is essential
  • 1 + years experience with PHP 5
  • Knowledge of HTML, DHTML/CSS, Ajax, Javascript and JQuery
  • Experience using source control system such as Subversion is desirable
  • CSS layout and formatting
  • Commercial experience in Web Application development and / or software development is desirable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Fluent in English, bilingual French / English a plus
