OLPC News is the premier independent community following the One Laptop Per Child project, and we're seeking Africa-based bloggers to cover XO laptop deployments around the continent, and around the world.

If you have regular Internet access, fancy yourself a writer, or at least a blogger, and are familiar with the OLPC project, its history, promise, and the passionate emotion it brings out in people, please email a writing sample on an OLPC topic of your choice. Bonus points for a text file with content HTML coded in the OLPC News format for immediate publication via MovableType.
If you qualify, we'll try to work out a pay-per-post arrangement based on the coverage you provide, with preference for in-person reporting from XO deployment sites.
Just keep in mind that like this job board, this is an experiment for us too.
